Register for the USLAW National Labor Assembly for Peace
Brothers and Sisters:
In less than a month, US Labor Against War is convening a National
Labor Assembly for Peace in Chicago, on Friday, October 24th and Saturday,
October 25th!
NOW is the time to register.
There are two things to do, and two ways to do them:
1. Please fill out the attached registration form.
2. Please send us your $50 registration fee.
To do this, simply :
1. Fill out the registration form (attached in a Word document )
electronically and e-mail it to: e_mcgrath@uslaboragainstwar.org.
Please
then mail a check for your $50 registration fee at the address below. If
you would like to pay with a credit card, please email e_mcgrath@uslaboragainstwar.org
and put "USLAW Registration credit card payment" in the Subject
line.
2. Print and fill out the registration form by hand and mailing it to the
address below, with your $50 registration fee.
The domestic and international war machine must be stopped. Leading up to
the war, with your leadership, the labor movement came forward in
unprecedented numbers to say NO. Now it is time to demand that we End
the Occupation and Bring the Troops Home.
The National Labor Assembly will form an ongoing network to continue the
vital work linking opposition to the war at home and the war abroad.
Together we have the power to make a difference.
Additional information about hotel reservations, schedule of events and
copies of all documents can be found at the USLAW website at http://www.uslaboragainstwar.org
We urge you to make reservations as soon as you know the number of
delegates in your party, regardless if you don't know exactly whom will be
delegates. Put the rooms under the name of your organization or another
acceptable substitute. Rooms are filling up fast, and our special rate
ends on October 3rd!
